ACTIVITIES SESSION 2018-19
Co-curricular refers to activities, programs, and learning experiences that complement, in some way, what students are learning in college—i.e., experiences that are connected to or mirror the academic curriculum.
- One month long Road Safety workshop organized by Transport Department Haryana and Shuruat Samiti from 1 to 30 May 2017. Transport Commissioner Haryana Ms Suprabha Dahiya inaugurated the workshop. Additional Chief Secretary Sh SS Dhillon was the chief guest on the concluding day.
- Seven day Drama and Creative Writing workshop organized from 16 to 22 June 2017. Mr P K Das Additional Chief Secretary Education Department Govt of Haryana inaugurated the workshop.
- International Yoga day celebrated by NSS volunteers and NCC cadets in the college on 21 June 2017.
- One day Theatre Workshop organized on 21 June 2017. Jalpurush Rajender Singh was the chief guest in this workshop.
- 68th State Level Van Mahotsav organized in the college campus on 17 July 2017. Plantation was also done. District Forest Officer Panipat Sh Vijender and District Forest Officer Karnal Sh Deepak Nanda were the Chief guests. A play “Vany Praaniyo Ke Saath Rahna Seekhe” was also staged.
- World Bio-fuel day and Bio-energy day celebrated in the college on 10 August 2017. Minister of transport Govt of Haryana Sh Krishan Panwar was the chief guest.
- Talent Hunt organized to identify the multifaceted students of the college to help them to participate in the Youth Festival and other events organized by KUK and other colleges on 6 September 2017.
- Vishv Bandhutv Day in memory of Swami Vivekananda celebrated in college on 11 September 2017.
- Hindi Divas celebrated with activities on Essay Writing and Declamation on 14 September 2017.
- Vaishnavi (5 year old girl) who has reached among the top 5 contestants in the Super Dancer Chapter 2 of Sony Channel welcomed in the college. She is being trained by a handicap student cum dancer of the college Radhe Paanchal.
- Conference organized on the birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh on 28 September 2017.
- Kalash Yaatra reached college on 28 September 2017. Bhagat Singh Teerth established in the college. Sh Ashwani Chopra MP Karnal was the chief guest on the occasion.
- First Aid training imparted to students by Red Cross Society Panipat on 06 October 2017. College NSS students participated in it.
- On the eve of Hariyana Svaran Jayanti, a 7 day Natya and Lok Kala Festival organized under the auspices of Hariyana Kala Parishad and Sanskritik Department Govt of Haryana from 9 to 15 October 2017. MD Forest Development Corporation Ms Amrinder Kaur and BJP State General Secretary Mr sanjay Bhatia were the chief guests. Noted singer Vinod Sahgal also graced the festival.
- 3 day Lekhan Prashikshan Kaaryshala organized in the college from 10 to 13 October 2017. Dr Shiv Kumar Khandelwaal Member Shashi Parishad Hariyana Saahitya Akadami was the chief guest on the occasion. Kavi Sammelan held on 12 October 2017 which was inaugurated by Ms Rohita Rewadi MLA (Urban) Panipat. Play Saiyan Bhaye Kotwal and Saang also staged.
- One day seminar organized on GST on 12 October 2017. Deputy Commissioner Excise and Taxation Department Noida Sh Mahavir Singh and Assistant Commissioner Panipat Sh Surinder Kumar Babbar were the chief guests.
- Under the Haryana Svaran Jayanti Festival, magic show of Magician Shankar Samraat organized in the college from 24 to 26 October 2017. Mayor Panipat Sh Sanjay Kumar was the chief guest.
- Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda celebrated in the college on 12 January 2017.
- 250 units of blood donated by students and teachers for the Indian Army on the eve of Indian Army day on 15 January 2018. Doctors of the Indian Army from Delhi Cantt participated in it.
- NSS volunteers aware the public about the importance of wearing Halmets while driving on 16 January 2018.
- College NSS and District Administration started a week long campaign on Road safety and Disaster Management from 17 to 23 January 2018.
- Safety Movement launched from the college by SP Traffic (Karnal Zone) and CJM Panipat Sh Mohit Aggarwal on 06 February 2018.
- National Deworming day organized by college NSS on 10 February 2018. Tablets of deworming distributed to students and children in slums.
- Sadak Suraksha Cetna Yaatra, flagged off by Transport Commissioner Vikas Gupta IAS from Panchkula, reaches college campus on 12 February 2018. “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara” and “Yumraj Jeevan Data”- two plays on Road Safety staged. District Deputy CEO Sh Jaswinder Bangad, Assistant Secretary RTA Panipat Sh Doulat Ram were present in the function.
